A: Yes, staff members from third, fourth or any number of external outsourcing companies can be included in your existing software outsourcing team, so long as they meet the expected requirements of a specific role that needs to be filled.

A: Yes, multiple software outsourcing and staff augmentation models can be combined for a more hybrid approach. As this is all dependent on an organisation’s unique requirements, there is no specific set of rules or restrictions in terms of what can (and cannot) be combined.
A: Onshoring, nearshoring and offshoring are all IT outsourcing models, but with key differences pertaining to location, between each:

● Onshoring delivers outsourcing services from the same country that the business is based in.

● Nearshoring delivers outsourcing services beyond national borders, but within a common geographic region. For e.g. a company based in Singapore may outsource to the Philippines, within its South East Asian frontier.

● Offshoring delivers outsourcing services from anywhere in the world, irrespective of country, continent or region.
